Air France KLM Martinair Cargo Shines at Air Cargo Europe 2025
From June 2 – 5 in Munich, Air France KLM Martinair Cargo proudly took part in Air Cargo Europe 2025 – the industry’s leading global event. Held since 2003, this event continues to bring together the most influential players in logistics, supply chain management, and air cargo.

This year’s edition proved especially memorable for the Group’s cargo business, embodied by Air France KLM Martinair Cargo. In addition to the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, partners and customers from across the industry, at the prestigious World Air Cargo Awards 2025 the Group took home the trophy for "Airline of the Year – Europe". This recognition underscores Air France-KLM’s commitment to delivering customer value through innovation, operational excellence, and collaborative industry partnerships.
Digital Transformation Driving Customer Value
Air Cargo Europe was a timely occasion to highlight the results of our multi-year transformation journey. Over the past five years, Air France KLM Martinair Cargo has evolved into a digital leader in the industry, driven by the belief that customer-centric innovation is the foundation for future success.
At the heart of this transformation is myCargo, our industry-leading digital booking and service platform. What started as a simple internal quoting tool has become a robust, full-service digital ecosystem. myCargo enables customers to quote, book, track, and manage their shipments 24/7—offering a level of transparency, control, and ease that’s now expected in modern logistics. By the end of 2024, 85% of all bookings were made online, proof of the trust our customers place in us and in our platform.
This evolution is more than technological. It represents a cultural shift toward data-driven decision-making, personalized service, and agile response. Our new CRM360, an AI-enabled customer service platform, ensures globally consistent, responsive, and human-centric support.
A Strong Contributor to Group Performance
Air France-KLM’s cargo business is a strategic pillar of the Group’s overall performance. In Q4 2024, traffic growth (+6.8%) outpaced capacity growth (+0.8%), pushing load factors up to 52.5%, a 3-point gain year-over-year. Even more impressively, a 14.5% increase in yield led to a 20.9% rise in unit revenue per ATK (available ton kilometers) at constant currency.
These results reflect both the strength of the market and our ability to capture value through smarter operations, optimized networks, and digitized services. Together, they position Air France KLM Martinair Cargo as a key driver of sustainable financial growth within the Group.
