Structured around three main activities - passenger transport, cargo transport and aircraft maintenance - Air France has become a major player in the airline industry thanks to the hard work and commitment of its employees.

In 2004, Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines formed the Air France-KLM Group, which was soon joined by Transavia.

  • In 2025, the airline acquired more than 17 next-generation aircraft.

     

  • In March 2025, Air France unveiled the new version of its La Première product. This major milestone in the airline’s strategic roadmap aims to boost the Group’s economic performance by attracting a high-value clientele.

     

  • With an average load factor of 95%, Air France demonstrates the effectiveness of its commercial and operational strategy.

  • Fleet renewal with next-generation aircraft: Air France is making significant investments in more efficient aircraft such as the Airbus A220 and A350, reducing CO₂ emissions and noise pollution by up to 25%.

     

  • Development of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF): Air France is committed to incorporating 10% SAF in its flights by 2030. The airline conducted its first SAF flights in 2021.

     

  • Promotion of intermodality: Through its “Train + Air” service developed in partnership with SNCF Voyageurs, the French national railway company – Air France is developing mobility solutions that combine train and air travel.

     

  • Socio-economic impact: Air France-KLM generates 1.9% of French GDP and supported over 552,000 direct and indirect jobs in France in 2023.

     

  • Support for education, social & professional integration, and environmental awareness: Through its foundation, Air France supports numerous non-profit projects aimed at helping children and youth around the world.
