Flying Blue honored at the 2026 Freddie Awards with four major distinctions

After being named the World's Best Loyalty Program for the second consecutive year by Point.me, Flying Blue, the Air France-KLM Group’s loyalty program, once again stood out at the 2026 Freddie Awards, the global benchmark for the travel loyalty industry. Flying Blue won four major awards, including Program of the Year for the Europe/Africa region.

 

Each year, the Freddie Awards recognize the best airline and hotel loyalty programs worldwide.

For the Europe/Africa region, Flying Blue secured first and second place in the following categories:

  • Program of the Year

  • Best Elite Program

  • Best Redemption Ability

  • Best Customer Service

  • Best Promotion - Silver medal for the “Turning Miles into Memories for 20 years” campaign

This recognition is particularly meaningful, as it is based on votes cast directly by travelers. In 2026, more than 4.2 million frequent travelers participated in the Freddie Awards voting process, a record-breaking figure that highlights both the credibility and the international reach of these awards. 

In an intensely competitive market, this achievement reinforces Flying Blue's position as a leading European airline loyalty program and reflects the Air France-KLM Group's commitment to placing innovation and customer experience at the heart of its loyalty strategy. 

This momentum is reflected in a number of recently launched initiatives designed to make Flying Blue an even more integral part of its members' everyday lives. Among them, a new offer developed through the partnership with Apple now allows Flying Blue members to earn Miles when purchasing selected Apple devices and redeem them for future purchases or experiences. In total, more than 100 commercial partnerships are now active with leading brands such as Uber, Booking, and the SNCF (French national rail operator), demonstrating the program's strong momentum.
