Pink October, Movember, AIDS awareness: the Group’s teams take action to support health-related causes
From Paris to Amsterdam, from Lyon to Curaçao, the airlines of the Air France–KLM Group are joining forces this autumn to support three major public health causes: Pink October, Movember and the Red Ribbon campaign.
Three campaigns, three months, one shared commitment: that of the Group’s employees, who put their energy and visibility to work in the service of prevention and solidarity.
Pink October: raising awareness of breast cancer prevention
Throughout October, the Pink October campaign raises awareness about the importance of breast cancer prevention.
The Air France–KLM Group supports and celebrates the commitment of its teams working alongside associations such as Les Hôtesses de l’Air contre le Cancer to promote this cause.
This year, health forums were led by the Group’s medical and infirmary teams across many Air France–KLM sites to increase awareness, share best practices, and highlight the importance of screening in improving recovery outcomes.

“Pink Flights” also took to the skies, displaying ribbons and messages of support, while crews distributed informational materials on board.
These initiatives serve as powerful reminders of the importance of early detection and encourage everyone to take care of their health.

Movember: addressing men’s health
In November, the teams come together for Movember, more commonly known as the “Moustache in November” initiatives led by the Les Hommes de l’Air association, which the Group’s airlines support.
The association has multiplied its awareness-raising actions: a record 65 “moustache” flights this year, conferences, charity sales, and joint initiatives with other aviation industry players. For the first time, the occupational health department also organized two forums dedicated to men’s health prevention, offering employees a space for information, discussion, and awareness.
This annual commitment aims to raise awareness about prostate and testicular cancers, as well as mental health issues.

Red Ribbon: standing in solidarity against HIV
On December 1st, to mark World AIDS Day, Air France, HOP! and Transavia will take part in the Red Ribbon campaign, alongside the association Personn’Ailes and partners such as Sida Info Service and Élus contre le Sida.
In addition to a fundraising appeal, special flights will connect Paris with Saint-Denis (Réunion Island), Seville (Spain) and Venice (Italy). On board, passengers will receive awareness materials and red ribbon pins—the emblem of the fight against AIDS and of solidarity with people living with the disease.
Crew members and volunteers will proudly wear this symbol of solidarity until mid-December.

A shared commitment across the Group
These three campaigns illustrate the collective engagement of Air France–KLM Group employees, who throughout the year choose to use their voice and visibility to support the causes that matter to them.
The Group provides logistical and operational support for these initiatives, including themed flights, awareness campaigns, fundraising drives, and large-scale prevention efforts.
Through these shared, concrete actions, Air France, KLM and Transavia reaffirm a common belief: aviation can also be a vehicle for awareness, empathy and social progress.
