Description

Air France contributes concrete support to development projects via four long-standing partnerships.

The Air France Foundation supports children and young people in France and around the world. Whether they are ill, living with disabilities, or facing hardship, the Foundation funds nonprofit projects focused on education, social inclusion, healthcare access, and environmental awareness.

Air France is putting its expertise as an airline to work for 18 NGOs that take care of children and young people with medical needs. Through its humanitarian support program, the Air France Foundation provides transportation for sick children to health centers in France and Europe. The Foundation also transports medical teams and equipment to areas in need.

In 2024, the Foundation supported over 1,700 projects in more than 80 countries.

Transavia France commitments

For several years, Transavia has been supporting the Louis Carlesimo association by enabling sick children to travel with Transavia. Each year, between 50 and 80 children have the opportunity to travel to Lapland, where they meet Santa Claus on the outbound flight.

The company also supports men and women battling illness by partnering with the association "Les Hommes de l’Air". They have thus carried out special flights in the colors of the associations to raise awareness among passengers. Each year, Transavia participates in Odyssea, the solidarity race to fight breast cancer.

Since the beginning of 2024, the company has partnered with the emergency reception center "Empire des Enfants", which works to care for street children in Senegal.

Transavia Netherlands commitments

Founded in 1966 by Transavia Netherlands, the Peter Pan association organizes four trips each year, in partnership with travel organizations and sponsors, during which children with chronic illnesses experience unforgettable holidays.

The airline is a partner of JINC. This foundation helps countless young people from neighborhoods with socioeconomic disadvantages to have a better chance on the job market.
