Transavia
Transavia, the Air France-KLM's Group’s low-cost airline, operates point-to-point routes to and from the Netherlands and France.
Founded in the Netherlands in 1965, Transavia has established itself as a reference in low-cost travel in Europe. The airline became a part of the Air France–KLM Group in 2004, and pursued its growth with the creation of Transavia France in 2006.
What began with a few planes and big dreams has grown into the Netherlands' second-largest airline and the country's largest holiday carrier.
Transavia focuses on short- and medium-haul flights at competitive prices from its main bases in France, the Netherlands, and Belgium to destinations across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
In partnership with other providers, Transavia also offers additional services beyond flights, such as hotel bookings, taxis, transfers, and car rentals.
In 2025, Transavia accounted for 10,5 % of the Air France–KLM Group’s revenue.
In 2025, Transavia’s network served more than 150 destinations across 40+ countries and more than 400 routes.
- In 2025, Transavia accelerated its growth as part of the Air France–KLM group-level transformation plan. The airline now operates a fleet of 140 aircraft.
A constantly evolving airline

Charity flights for sick children: support for the Louis Carlesimo association (France) and Peter Pan (Netherlands), allowing children with serious illnesses to experience a magical journey, notably to the Lapland region in Finland to meet Santa Claus or Mallorca and Port Aventura in Spain.
Support for social inclusion: partnership with the non-profit JINC (Netherlands) to promote career opportunities for young people from underprivileged neighborhoods, and Empire des Enfants (France–Senegal) to assist children living on the streets in Dakar.
- Internal awareness and eco-actions by employees: climate workshops, e-learning, waste sorting, reusable cups, carpooling, EV charging stations... a genuine commitment to mobilizing teams around CSR challenges.
