Olivier Piette is appointed EVP Strategy & CEO Office at Air France-KLM
Air France-KLM announces the appointment of Olivier Piette as Executive Vice-President Strategy & CEO Office, effective February 1, 2026.
In this expanded role, Olivier Piette joins the Air France-KLM Group Executive Committee (GEC) while continuing to report directly to Benjamin Smith, Group CEO.
His mission will now encompass leading the Strategy, Group Communication, Brand Portfolio Strategy as well as the Group Network. This move is designed to ensure a seamless alignment between the Group’s long-term strategic planning, its global network governance, its communications and the consistency of its brand portfolio.

About Olivier Piette
Olivier Piette holds an Engineering Master's degree from Mines de Nancy. He has spent 24 years with Air France and Air France-KLM, gaining extensive experience across Flight Operations, Network Planning, Global Sales, and Corporate Strategy. He served as Air France SVP Network from 2020 to 2024 before being appointed Chief of Staff to the Group CEO in September 2024.
