This major event in the aerospace industry is a key opportunity for the Group to strengthen its ties with customers, public authorities, and other key stakeholders in the sector.

This new edition of the Air Show will highlight three of the Group’s strategic priorities: the Engineering & Maintenance business, sustainability, and recruitment.

Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance: focused on innovation

Throughout the week, Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) will announce new major commercial and strategic partnerships, reinforcing its position as a global leader in aircraft maintenance.

Visitors to the booth will be able to explore the “MRO Lab”, an immersive space dedicated to technological innovation. Several interactive demos will showcase the Group’s technical expertise, including predictive maintenance via the Prognos platform, 3D printing of cabin components, and virtual reality exploration of an engine using a 360° headset. A unique opportunity to dive into the heart of technical performance and maintenance solutions of the future.

A renewed commitment to environmental transition

In a time of major transformation for the aviation industry, Air France-KLM will leverage the Air Show to reiterate its strong ambitions in decarbonization. The Group will present its latest work on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), demonstrating its determination to help advance the entire sector.

To do so, Air France-KLM is making substantial investments to roll out its action plan, built around four key pillars:

  • Fleet renewal, with next-generation aircraft that reduce CO₂ emissions per passenger-kilometer by up to 25% compared to previous-generation aircraft of similar size (and up to 50% less noise emissions);
  • Increased use of SAF on all flights, exceeding the European Union’s regulatory requirements;
  • Operational measures both onboard and on the ground to cut CO₂ emissions, including reducing onboard weight and optimizing flight paths;
  • Intermodal passenger transport, offering passengers the ability to combine different modes of transportation when flying with the Group’s airlines.

Recruiting the talent of today and tomorrow

During the public open days (June 20–22), the Air France-KLM booth will showcase the wide variety of careers within the Group and highlight current job opportunities.

Air France has launched an ambitious recruitment plan for 2025, with nearly 2,000 job openings across its key business areas: passenger transport, cargo, aircraft maintenance, IT, data, and logistics. Around 300 pilots will be recruited — some via the Air France Cadet program — and 1,000 apprentices will join the company to be trained in the jobs of the future.

A full schedule of roundtable discussions will also take place during the three public days, covering topics such as job evolution, the impact of AI, and environmental challenges in maintenance.

Transavia, also an airline of the Air France-KLM Group, will also be present at the Paris Air Show with a stand located in Hall 2B, booth F193.

Students and job seekers can attend the Paris Air Show free of charge on Friday, June 20 (registration required at https://www.siae.fr/en/).
