Air France and KLM inaugurate a new Air&Rail Terminal in Brussels Midi Station

Terminal Bruxelles Air&Rail

Today, Air France and KLM inaugurated their fully refurbished Air&Rail Terminal in the Belgian capital. The lounge, located at Brussels-Midi/Zuid train station, offers new spaces in an elegant atmosphere. This investment reflects both airlines’ commitment to offering the best experience to passengers connecting by rail to their respective hubs, at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport and Amsterdam Schiphol airport.

"We're proud to continue investing in the Air&Rail product. We remain fully committed to ensuring a smooth customer journey, making the train an ever-better alternative to air on short-haul routes in Europe. We're working closely with our partners to optimize the Air&Rail offer for our customers, who can connect to over 300 destinations worldwide via Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol," said Marjan Rintel, KLM CEO.

For more than 20 years, Air France and KLM have been offering their customers to and from Belgium a fully integrated service allowing them to combine train and air travel in the same booking.

Thanks to the Air&Rail offer, customers have one single booking for their entire journey and a guaranteed seat on the next available flight or train, free of charge, if their flight or train is delayed. Dedicated teams are assisting customers in stations.

Air France customers connecting in Paris-Charles de Gaulle benefit from the through check-in of their baggage from Brussels-Midi/Zuid train station to the final destination of their journey.

Air France customers travel in 1st class on board TGV INOUI.

As from June 15 to August 22, a 7th daily high-speed connection will be added between Brussels-Midi/Zuid train station and Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.
