Pieter Groeneveld appointed Senior Vice-President Digital of Air France-KLM

As from 1st of June, Pieter Groeneveld is appointed Senior Vice-President Digital of Air France-KLM. He succeeds Tjalling Smit whom resigned from Air France-KLM.

The Digital team is part of the Air France-KLM Marketing, Digital and Communication division headed by the Executive Vice-President Adeline Challon-Kemoun.

Pieter Groeneveld, 46 years old, has a Master's Degree in Business Economics from Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He joined KLM in 1997 as Manager Research & Development Passenger Activity for KLM. In 1998, he became Network Planner Europe then in 2001 Senior Network Planner Asia. In 2002 he was appointed Director Network Planning Cargo activity at KLM. In 2005, he became Director High Tech Industries at KLM Cargo. In 2008, he was appointed VP Corporate Strategy and Business Development at KLM. Since 2010, he has been VP Network Planning at KLM.
