For the second consecutive year, the Air France-KLM group’s low-cost airline was voted "Best European low-cost Airline" by Flight Report, a website specializing in airline rankings, with an overall score of 7.75 out of 10. This score was given after consulting the views of passengers who flew with the airline in 2016.
European low-cost airlines are evaluated according to several criteria: the comfort of the cabin, the professional attitude of the crew, the quality of the inflight catering and finally the inflight entertainment. Transavia ranks first notably thanks to its crews, who were given a score of 8.8 and for its fee-paying catering service. The leading low-cost airline from Paris-Orly is also one of the top three European low-cost carriers in the "cabin comfort" and "entertainment" categories.
"For the past 10 years, the quality of our entire customer experience has been at the heart of our strategy. This first place awarded by our customers only encourages us to continue! This is the best reward!" said Hervé Kozar, Chief Commercial Officer of Transavia France.
