Appointments and creation of a new department within the Commercial, Sales and Alliances division at Air France-KLM

The Commercial, Sales and Alliances division at Air France-KLM, managed by Patrick Alexandre, EVP Commercial, Sales and Alliances at Air France-KLM is updating its organization.

Several appointments have been made:

Henri de Peyrelongue has been appointed SVP Commercial Planning and representative of the Commercial, Sales and Alliances division on the Air France Executive Committee.

Zoran Jelkic has been appointed SVP France at Air France. He takes over from Pierre Descazeaux who is taking retirement.

Henri Hourcade has been appointed SVP Caribbean & Indian Ocean, Central and South America at Air France-KLM and takes over from Zoran Jelkic.

Barry Ter Voert has been appointed SVP Europe at Air France-KLM. He takes over from Henri de Peyrelongue.

Finally, Soline de Montrémy, ‎SVP Global sales and sales support at Air France KLM is responsible for corporate sales and agencies for contracts managed centrally for all markets outside North America (Travel Management Companies, online agencies, specialized agencies - maritime traffic, cruise companies, MICE and multi-market corporate contracts). She is also responsible for sales partnerships and relations with Atout France.

Patrick Alexandre, EVP Commercial, Sales and Alliances at Air France-KLM said: “My priority is to direct all the resources of Air France-KLM’s commercial division towards sales. We want to be even more responsive and closer to our customers. With the creation of a central Commercial Planning department, we want to improve the management of our economic performance, provide more effective support to our sales teams and strengthen our expertise in all customer segments, travel agencies, companies or specialized niche markets, such as cruise passengers”.


Henri de Peyrelongue, 52, is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. He joined UTA in 1990 in the Operational Research Department. In 1992, he joined Air France in the Network Planning Department. He contributed to designing the CDG hub, and successively held the positions of Head of Current Network Planning and Head of Future Network Planning. In 2000, he was appointed VP Revenue Management and was also chairman of the ATPCO Board from 2005. In 2008, he became SVP Network Air France-KLM. In 2013, he joined the Air France-KLM Commercial Division as SVP Europe & North Africa.

Zoran Jelkic, 47, is a graduate of the Ecole des Mines in Nancy and has a Master’s degree from Sup Aéro. In 1995 he joined Air Inter at the Scheduling division and in 1997 joined the Africa & Middle East Sales division at Air France as manager for the Middle East, East and South Africa Market. He then began a career abroad, where he successively held the positions of manager of UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Sales Director for the Middle East, based in Dubai. In 2005, he was appointed Head of the Metropolitan France and Europe Product within the Operational Marketing division of France. In 2007, he joined the General Management and Chairman’s Office of Air France as Chief of Staff and director of External Relations and Public Affairs. In January 2013, he was appointed SVP Caribbean & Indian Ocean, Central and South America at Air France-KLM.

Henri Hourcade, 50, graduated from ESSEC Business School (Paris) and joined Air France at the Martinique & South Caribbean Regional Establishment in 1988. He joined the Marketing division in 1990 and contributed to launching the Flying Blue frequent flyer programme, before taking up a position as Sales Director Scandinavia & Finland in Stockholm for 3 years. He then spent 6 years at Revenue Management /Pricing, before moving to Toulouse where he was Regional Manager Midi-Pyrénées for Air France between 2001 and 2003. Between 2003 and 2008, he took charge of the Distribution & Internet Division before moving to London in July 2009 as Regional Manager UK and Ireland. From July 2013 to July 2016, Henri Hourcade has been Director for Corporate & Agency Sales France within the Air France-KLM commercial division.

Barry ter Voert, 45, holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration and is also an Economics graduate of the University of Tilburg. After a traineeship with Arthur Andersen in London, he joined KLM in 1996 as a Management Trainee. He has worked in Amsterdam, Budapest and Paris and held several positions in Sales & Marketing, Alliances and Pricing & Revenue Management. He has also been a director of ATPCO since 2009. In 2014, Barry was appointed Senior Vice President Pricing & Revenue Management at Air France-KLM.

Soline de Montrémy, 56, has a post graduate diploma (DEA) in Economic History and a Master in Economy. She joined Air France in 1985, where she held several positions in commercial departments on different areas: North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. She became Manager of Revenue Management and Pricing for Asia in 1996. In 1998 she joined the French Market: in 2000, she was appointed Vice-President of Operational Marketing, and in 2011 she became Vice-President Corporate and Travel Agencies Sales. Since July 1st, 2013 she joined the Management Group Air France-KLM in the Commercial, Sales and Alliances Division as SVP Global Sales & Commercial Partnerships.
