Air France-KLM in the DJSI Europe and World ranking for the 14th year running

For the fourteenth consecutive year, Air France-KLM is included in the Europe and World ranking of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI). The group is the only airline to be included in the European ranking.

The DJSI Europe and World indices, jointly calculated by the Standard & Poor’s Dow Jones indexes and asset manager RobecoSAM, reward respectively the 149 and 317 most responsible companies. DJSI's ranking is based on an in-depth analysis of the economic, social and environmental performance of more than 3,500 international groups and the assessment of numerous criteria such as corporate governance, customer relations, environmental policy, working conditions and social initiatives.

A long-term commitment

To integrate sustainable development into its activities and operations, Air France-KLM is committed to four main challenges on a daily basis -

- reducing its environmental footprint by optimizing operations, innovating with the supply chain and involving all staff and the entire industry;
- taking into account the challenges of sustainable development throughout the service chain in order to offer customers innovative and responsible products and services;
- promoting responsible social policy and encouraging personal development to guarantee the motivation and professionalism of employees;
- contributing to the economic and social development of the territories where the Group is present.

Air France-KLM is continuing its actions in favour of sustainable development, notably by integrating innovation and circular economy principles into its operations, and by taking an active part in the development of sustainable alternative fuels for the aviation industry.

*A member of the DJSI since 2005, the group is also included in the non-financial indexes Euronext Vigeo Eiris, Ethibel and FTSE4Good. The Oekom Research agency has classified the group as “Prime”.
