Air France-KLM launches its Open Data portal

Air France-KLM is launching its new Open Data portal directly available at Developers and start-ups will have easy, global access to Air France and KLM operational data such as:

  • flight times;
  • flight numbers and routes;
  • fares;
  • transport conditions;
  • etc.

The constantly evolving Air France-KLM Open Data portal will offer access to flight status data by the end of 2017.  

Tested by more than 350 developers, the new portal gives users access to a support team to develop their API* consumption. In addition, the site interface has been completely redesigned and the browsing functionality made more intuitive.

For several years now, Air France-KLM has been investing in digital tools and open innovation. In this way, the Group accompanies about one hundred start-ups every year, such as

  • the “Interactive Mobility” start-up’s contribution to the enhanced offer on the Air France Press app;
  • “lineberty”, an intelligent ticket office queue management app which uses digital tickets.
