Since December 6, 2017, Air France and KLM have started offering a new range of fares in the Economy cabin between Europe and the United States and Canada.
Customers will be able to choose from 3 different types of fare adapted to the way they travel, each with specific conditions:
. "Light": For travelers looking for the cheapest fare and the assistance and services of Air France and KLM. Checked baggage not included (50 euros*)
. "Standard": fares for travelers who want more flexibility to be able to change their ticket / travel dates (for a fee) with 1 piece of checked baggage included
. "Standard plus": a range of fares that enables travelers to change their ticket or obtain a refund (with or without an additional charge, depending on the option chosen) with 1 piece of checked baggage included
Whichever fare they choose, the cabin baggage conditions remain the same
These fare are valid on all flights from Europe to the USA and Canada.
For flights on departure from USA and Canada, these fare are valid:
. From Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Minneapolis, Seattle, Salt Lake City, on all flights to Europe
. From the other US destinations, on all flights to France, Netherlands, Italy, Greece, Ireland and Iceland
. From Calgary and Edmonton, on all flights to the Netherlands.
These fares will be available as from December 6, 2017 for travel as from April 10, 2018.
Joint venture partners Delta and Alitalia will each expand a similar fare product across the Atlantic on the same date.
*For Air France and KLM operated flights, Flying Blue Ivory members benefit from a 10 euro discount on their first paid bag when purchased online until 24h before departure.
