Air France-KLM, a responsible leader

The European sustainable development week from 30 May to 5 June is the occasion for Air France-KLM to reassert its commitments and efforts in imagining the journeys of tomorrow – caring, innovative and responsible.

Air France-KLM places sustainable development at the heart of its activities and operations and concentrates on four main issues - reducing its environmental footprint, integrating sustainability development into its products and services, promoting a policy of responsible human resources and contributing to the development of the countries where the Group operates.

Ranked leader of the “Airlines” category for the 10th year running by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and leader of the “Transport” category for the 6th consecutive year, the Group carries out many initiatives in an aim to reduce its environmental impact, notably by limiting its CO2 emissions, reducing fuel consumption and a responsible procurement policy.

The Group’s sustainable development strategy and all its initiatives are described in detail in the 2014 sustainable development report, available in an interactive version on the corporate.airfrance.com and airfranceklm.com websites.
