Air France-KLM is a partner of Africarena 2017, Africa's largest technological innovation event, which is being held on 6-7 November in Cape Town, South Africa.
A pioneer and leader in many fields related to innovation and already very present on the continent, Air France-KLM has chosen this event to continue its actions in favour of technological innovation in Africa. As a continuation of its partnership with MyAfricanStartup*, Africarena is a new opportunity for the group to demonstrate its commitment alongside young companies that are taking an active part in the emergence of the African continent.
Air France-KLM has chosen six start-ups to compete in the Africarena event and present their innovative solutions on themes related to travel.
Organized by French Tech, an Air France-KLM partner, and Silicon Cape, Africarena offers African and international companies and investors the opportunity to explore future trends and discover a selection of start-ups which are among the most innovative in the world. With 30 workshops, an exhibition, a gala and a hackathon, this is a unique opportunity for the 500 participants to create partnerships and long-term investments.
* Air France-KLM is also a partner of MyAfricanStartup, an African platform that connects start-ups with the general public and the media.
