AFI KLM E&M takes orders amounting to 800 million euros at Le Bourget


At this year's Paris Air Show at Le Bourget, Air France Industries - KLM Engineering & Maintenance demonstrates its strong sales momentum in a focused and aggressive competitive market. In this way, the Group's maintenance sector has announced that it has signed several contracts for equipment support for a total amount of 800 million euros.
 
Five major contracts have been signed:
- Vietnam Airlines: 10th 787 equipment support contract. AFI KLM E&M is confirming its leadership on this product.
- Air China Cargo: after the GE90 contract in 2014, the Chinese airline has chosen AFI KLM E&M for the 777 engine support of its cargo subsidiary (in a JV with Cathay). Eight aircraft are concerned, including six already in service and two more in September.
- TNT Airways: support per flight hour for the GE90 engines of its 3 Boeing 777 Freighter.
- Royal Jordanian: renewal of the equipment support contract for this airline's two A330, a loyal AFI KLM E&M customer for over 10 years, accompanying the retirement of these aircraft from the fleet, scheduled for 2017.
- Gulf Air: AFI KLM E&M is renewing the contract with Gulf Air for all its Airbus equipment support, i.e. sixteen A320, six A321 and six A330.
